Management institutes are creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem so that the students start their own ventures so as to become “job generators' ' rather than “job seekers''. Hence to facilitate the development and growth of new ventures by the students with the help of innovative ideas, an Entrepreneurship Development Startup and Innovation Cell (EDSI Cell) is established in the institute to act as a facilitator and resource institution to motivate, guide and help students (potential entrepreneurs) in their entrepreneurial endeavours. EDSI Cell organizes different activities and events to train and motivate the students to take up entrepreneurship as a career option. The EDSI Cell of NWIMSR is committed to encourage, inspire, guide and support any student who seeks to grow and is passionate to become a Go-getter and an Entrepreneur.
About IIC:
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India has established ‘MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC)’ to systematically foster the culture of Innovation amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The primary mandate of MIC is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes while they are informative years.
