Admissions to MBA/MMS through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE Maharashtra are open for Maharashtra domicile as well as for outside Maharashtra State (All India) candidates. The candidates securing Non Zero Positive marks/score in MAH-MBA/ MMS-CET or GMAT/ CAT/ CMAT will be eligible to get admission to MBA course in the State of Maharashtra through CAP round.
Document verification as per the list of documents on the Application form.
Candidates will come to FC with print of online filled & confirmed application form & one set of copy of uploaded documents. FC shall verify all documents and put FC stamp with date & signature on all copies of documents and return the same set of documents to the candidate along with receipt – cum-Acknowledgement of application form. (Candidate shall submit FC stamped & verified set of documents to ARC for re-verification after the allotment and then to the institute for admission as per the schedule)
CAP will be conducted in 3/4 rounds. The process will consist of Online Application submission; Option form submission, document verification, counseling along with brief GD-PI, generation of merit list and allotment of MBA seat. Final allotment of seats will be based on your scores in MAHCET; CAT; GMAT, CMAT exams, academics & other parameters leading to merit score in CAP round.
Maharashtra State Candidature Seats: The Candidates having Maharashtra State Candidature shall be eligible for these seats.
All India Candidature Seats: The Candidates having All India Candidature shall be eligible for these seats.
Minority Quota Seats: The Candidates having Minority Candidature shall be eligible for these seats. These seats shall be filled in accordance with the various provisions of the Act.
Institutional Quota Seats: The Institution can admit Eligible Candidates against 20% of the Sanctioned Intake. The maximum 5% seats may be filled in from the NRI Candidates, if it is approved by the Appropriate Authority at the Institution level.
Since not all the MBA admissions in Maharashtra B-schools could be finalised through CAP round, there are still many vacant seats in MBA colleges. DTE Maharashtra clarifies ‘The seats remaining vacant after offering admissions to the candidates through CAP due to non-reporting and cancellation after CAP Round-III will be filled in by the managements of the respective institutes. Admission authorities of the respective institutes will have to process these admissions strictly as per the guidelines given by DTE in Annexure -III.
The administrative office provides guidance to the students for Admissions, Railways/Bus Concession, and Scholarship/ Free Ship scheme of Government of Maharashtra, Examination and related work. Fee concessions as mentioned below subject to approval from appropriate authorities are available to the eligible students.

The College provides Hostel Accommodation in the premises for boys and girls. Hostels are equipped with all modern amenities conveniences and comforts. The rooms are well ventilated and are suitably furnished. A new hostel is constructed with independent facility block containing separate mess and reading halls for boys and girls.The old girls’ hostel can accommodate 91 girls, new hostel can provide accommodation to 352 boys and 264 girls. Round the clock security is provided to both the hostels and it is under CCTV surveillance.Prof. A. Y. Devare, Vice Principal of Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology and Dr. Prakash N. Chaudhary, Vice Principal of Ness Wadia College of Commerce are the Wardens of Gents and Ladies Hostel respectively.The College Hostel, located within the college campus, consists of two blocks, one each for boys and girls. It is a residence hostel for full time graduate and postgraduate students admitted to MESCOE. All community areas like dining room, common room, recreation room, wash room etc., are provided separately for boys and girls..
The Hostel Committee, under the Chairmanship of Principal, frames the rules and regulations of the Hostel from time to time and is the final authority in matters concerning the management of the hostels.
The Hostel building has ground plus seven floors. Ground floor is provided for parking facility to the staff and students on campus, a toilet for security and service staff, an electrical power room and a Security staff Cabin.
The rooms from the first to seventh floors are designed for accommodation, with attached toilet and bath. The first floor has fourteen rooms of which one room is provided for the Warden/ assisting staff and one room is provided as a sick room while twelve rooms are for accommodation. All floors from the second to the seventh floors are identical , with sixteen rooms for accommodation. Two rooms are reserved on the second floor for guest accommodation. Dormitory accommodation is provided in the facility building on separate floors for boys and girls.

The hostels are provided with Mess facility. Boys and Girls will have separate Mess and dining area provided in the facility building. For safety and security, students are not permitted to prepare or cook food in any of the rooms. Students studying in a professional program who are busy in lectures and practicals, are provided with in-house mess services. Mess Service is provided to all students from Monday to Saturday and is inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Each room is provided with an attached toilet and bath. The room is provided with a fan, two tube lights & a night footlight.Each student has a study table, a chair, a wardrobe, and a socket point for charging mobile/ Laptop. A bunk bed is provided with a mattress and a soft pillow.
Hostel accommodation is mainly for UG and PG program students admitted from outside Pune for that academic year . M E Society and its staff always strive to provide better facilities and improve the standards thereof. The hostel is intended to be a second home for students.
Lift Facility :- Hostel building is provided with two lifts, one is used as a back-up. For safety and security of students, lift is provided with lift operator from 7am to 7 pm. Lift is with generator backup.
Surveillance :- All corridors and passages of the building are under surveillance of security camera.
Security :- Security personnel secure the building round the clock and monitor the camera system. Entry and exit to the hostel is closed from 10pm to 6 am.
Hot bath- water :- A common hot bath water facility is available in all seasons.
Medical facility :-> Free O.P.D. facility is available. Qualified Gents and Ladies doctors attend O.P.D. three hours every day. Free medicines are given to all students and staff. If required, students are provided with paid IPD facility at nearby hospitals.
Sick Room :- Any student who is sick and has an infectious disease is shifted to sick room and accommodation is given to the attending parents on doctor’s advice.
Guest Room:- If required and if available, a student’s parents can get one day accommodation in guest room of hostel on paid basis.
Accommodation during Examination:- Students appearing for examination but not staying at hostel who require accommodation during examination may get accommodation, if available, for one or two days only on the days of their examination, on paid basis.
